a lot of talk about water boarding and torture recently. it might seem new and exciting, but apparently nothing ever changes in our dear country. a country which each one of us, including michelle obama and cindy mccain, is very proud of. new yorker article about "the water cure" and its use by american soldiers in the philippines at the turn of the 20th century.
